How to review a travel-plan change
Treat a plan change as a small dependency review, not a reason to start the whole trip over.

Write down the changed fact
State exactly what changed and what remains uncertain. A precise statement keeps the review grounded: a new arrival day is different from a changed number of travelers, even if both affect the first day.
Trace only direct dependencies
Check the booking context, chosen activities, broad time windows, preparation tasks, and handoffs that rely on that fact. Do not reopen unrelated decisions merely because they are visible in the plan.
Confirm the proposed delta
Before changing the saved plan, compare the proposed additions, removals, and revisions with the original intent. If a consequence cannot be explained, leave it out until it can.
