Choose the anchors
Begin with activities or commitments the traveler has explicitly chosen. These are anchors because they deserve a place in the trip, not because every hour must become busy.
Use broad windows before exact times
A morning, afternoon, evening, or all-day window can express enough intent for many activities. Add more precision only when the owner has a real commitment or a clear reason to do so.
Protect free time
Leave unfilled time deliberately. It can absorb energy changes, discoveries, weather, and the slower pace that often makes a trip feel like a trip.
